  Derived from my HitMan™ web site administration screensaver, I have developed a screen-saver that works with the dance portion of my site. The screen-saver reports dynamic statistical data to all users. (in this case, data related to dance of course)
..All information that can be delivered to you via my screen-saver without the need to visit my site. Of course you are always welcome to visit eriksummers.com, but why not allow your computers screen-saver to be useful, to deliver new and interesting data right to your desktop? All of the above are not available in the current Beta Version

More Information:

I am utilizing and relying on the latest Internet technologies. Any user who would care to beta this project is required to have Win 98,ME,2000 or XP, the latest Flash Player installed (FLASHMX) and it is recommended they are utilizing a broad band Internet connection (DSL, Cable Modem or LAN).

Security:
I have installed and uninstalled this executable numerous times and it is guaranteedBug free. NO DATA WILL BE OBTAINED FROM YOUR COMPUTER. The only action executed by the screen-saver is to execute a script on my server that will deliver data to you..so in reality..you are getting my data!

-Once loaded the screen-saver simply activates as any screen-saver would
-Upon activation the screen-saver sends a command to my web site. and pulls back specified data
- If left active (if you don't move your mouse) the screen-saver will refresh the data every 15 Minutes
-It's as simple as that. This screen-saver was developed to utilize broad band connections (DSL, Cable) however it is not REQUIRED to run the screen-saver. Keep in mind, however, if there is no connection to the Internet when the screen-saver activates or refreshes, no data will be pulled from the server.

 Additional Notes:
The data being displayed in the beta version: (keeping it simple)
1. The most popular dance being viewed on my site (my site receives aprox 50 hits a day from all over the world. This statistic lets you see what dance other visitors favor..the data is real time)
2. Dance song statistics: I will pull songs from either the current hit list or from my personal database. I will post it with it's specified rhythm, artist and any description I may feel is needed.

It's that simple...The data the screen-saver is pulling is completely dynamic and up to date. The most popular dance being viewed is literally analyzed and posted as the screen-saver executes. As well, if I change the posted song 4 times in one day, your screen-saver will reflect that exact data (if allowed to run). This is simply a way to make your screen-saver useful beyond looking nice and it allows you to obtain interesting data without having to actually visit my site

Future versions will include both static and animated images, video footage, sound bytes, drag able windows alert of site updates and Ooh, so much more!
